Pairing a Keyboard and Mouse with Dell Display and Peripheral Manager

Overview

This guide explains how to pair a Dell wireless keyboard and mouse with your computer using Dell Display and Peripheral Manager (DDPM).

Step 1: Open Dell Display and Peripheral Manager

  1. Go to the Windows Taskbar.

  2. In the search bar, type: Dell Display and Peripheral Manager

  3. Click the application to open it.

Step 2: Add a New Device

  1. In the application interface, click the “+” (Add Device) icon.

  2. This will open the Add Device menu.

Step 3: Select Device Type

  1. Choose:

Keyboard and Mouse

  1. Then select:

Wireless Receiver

Step 4: Pair the Devices

  1. Follow the instructions shown in the application.

  2. Turn on your keyboard and mouse if they are not already powered on.

  3. The software will automatically detect and pair the devices.

Troubleshooting

If the device does not connect:

  • Ensure the wireless receiver is plugged into the computer.

  • Check that the keyboard and mouse batteries are charged.

  • Restart Dell Display and Peripheral Manager and try again.

  • Move the devices closer to the receiver.
