Production and repair settings

Production and repair settings/Paramètres de production et réparation/Instellingen productie en herstellingen/Produktion und reparaturseinstellungen

To ensure that automatic counting systems operate correctly, both in production and for robots at second-hand sites, the settings must be correct.

In addition, these settings also ensure that the data is displayed and calculated correctly in the daily report and to predict the 'production time ready' (https://www.getitdone.be/knowledge/article/222)

1/ Input shifts

(1) The type of shifts are managed in a central way and can not be set. However, underlying information of the hours per day and secondary activities can be set either over all branches, or per branch.

(2) per day per shift the hours need to be set

(3) in case of recurrent activities and/or employees, these can be preset per day

(4) if breaks are not paid, the breaks during this shift are deducted from the production time to calculate the production average

2/ Input breaks

Per branch/shift the breaks need to be set

3/ Input machines

Here you must specify, for each machine, per week and per day, which shift pattern will be followed. Please note: on Fridays, you must specify which shifts will start on Monday morning. Every Sunday at midnight, the information for each machine is sent to the machines, and it begins counting from Monday as specified in the settings.

  • If the shifts on a machine are going to remain the same for a certain period, you can copy them by entering the number of weeks they will remain the same and clicking ‘Copy to the coming weeks’
  • If you want to change the shifts for the current week, you must submit this data to the system, as the automatic update only takes place once a week on Sundays. So make your changes and click ‘Forward WXX to the machine’. You will find the same button on the level of the shifts and breaks. In case something changes during the week, you need to update this manually by clicking this button.
  • If the machine details are incorrect, the time recorded by the system will distort the figures: for example, if you specify that the shift on machine 04 is in the morning, but in reality it is during the day, the system will start recording the time and the number of pallets produced at 05.00, even though production does not begin until 07.00. The system will stop recording at 13.00, even though you are producing until 16.00.
  • For REC robot purposes: if no shift is set on the repair tables linked to the robot  => registration for the last known active shift ever scheduled on that table. If it is a new robot and there is therefore no last known active shift: alphabetically, i.e. shift 01

4/ Input employees

to be able to link your employees to the repairs, production or secondary activities in the daily report, you need to create them here and assing them to a machine.

This screen does not have any HR purpose, only reporting.
