Get It done BV with registered office at Torhoutse Baan 5/02, 8470 Gistel, with company number BE 0778 670 864, trading under the name Get IT done as referred to hereafter, places great importance on the safe, transparent, and confidential collection and processing of your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as the "GDPR").

Get IT done wishes to inform you through this privacy statement about the collection and processing of your personal data in relation to all services provided by Get IT done and, in general, all activities carried out by Get IT done. Get IT done requests that you read this privacy statement carefully, as it contains essential information about how your personal data is processed and for what purposes.

By providing your personal data to our company, you expressly declare that you have taken note of this Privacy Statement and you also expressly agree to it, as well as to the processing itself.

Personal data being processed
Get IT done may process personal data about you because you use the services of Get IT done, and/or because you provide this information yourself when filling out a contact form.​

Get IT done can process the following personal data:

  • Your telephone number

  • Your IP address

Get IT done reminds you that you are responsible for all the information you provide to us and that we rely on its accuracy. If your information is no longer up-to-date, we kindly ask you to inform us of this promptly.

Why Get IT done needs data
Get IT done processes your personal data to be able to contact you by phone or email if you request it, and/or to be able to reach you in writing (by email and/or by post) if you cannot be reached by phone unexpectedly.​

In addition, Get IT done may process your personal data in the context of executing an agreement with you, typically consisting of technological and commercial services. Furthermore, Get IT done may process your personal data for the purposes of maintaining its accounting, customer management, management of suppliers/subcontractors, personnel management and payroll administration, public relations, and direct marketing activities such as sending promotional or commercial information and newsletters. How long Get IT done retains data
Get IT done does not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. Your data will not be retained for longer than a year if no agreement is established with you.​

Get IT done only provides your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the performance of a contract with you, or to comply with a legal obligation.​

Mapping website visits
On the Get IT done website, general visit data is recorded, including the IP address of your computer and the time of request, as well as data that your browser sends along. This information is used for analysing visit and click behaviour on the website. Get IT done uses this information to improve the functionality of the website. This data is anonymised as much as possible and is not shared with third parties.​

Google Analytics
Get IT done uses Google Analytics to track how users interact with the website and how effective any Adwords advertisements from Get IT done are on Google search results pages. The information obtained in this way, including your computer's address (IP address), is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google uses this information to track how our website is used, to provide reports about the website to Get IT done, and to offer its advertisers information about the effectiveness of their campaigns..

Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or to the extent that these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. Get IT done has no influence over this. Get IT done has not given Google permission to use analytics information obtained via Get IT done for other Google services.

View, edit or delete data

In accordance with and under the conditions of Belgian privacy legislation and the provisions of the GDPR, we inform you that you have the following rights:

  • Right of access and inspection: you have the right to access the data we hold about you free of charge and to check how it is being used.
  • Right to rectification: you have the right to obtain rectification (correction) of your inaccurate personal data, as well as to complete incomplete personal data.
  • Right to erasure or restriction of processing: you have the right to request that we erase your personal data or restrict its processing in the circumstances and under the conditions as specified by the GDPR. We may refuse the erasure or restriction of any personal data that is necessary for us to comply with a legal obligation, to perform a contract, or for our legitimate interests, and this as long as such data is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
  • Right to data portability: you have the right to obtain the personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You have the right to transfer this data to another data controller.
  • Right of objection: you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data on serious and legitimate grounds. However, please be aware that you cannot oppose the processing of personal data that is necessary for us to fulfil a legal obligation, the performance of a contract, or our legitimate interests, as long as this data is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
  • Right to withdraw consent: if the processing of personal data is based on prior consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent. These personal data will then only be processed if we have another legal basis for doing so.
  • Automated decisions and profiling: we confirm that the processing of personal data does not involve profiling and that you are not subject to fully automated decisions.

Get IT done takes the protection of your data seriously and implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure, and unlawful alteration. The Get IT done website uses a reliable SSL certificate to ensure that your personal data does not fall into the wrong hands. Under no circumstances can Get IT done be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from incorrect or unlawful use of personal data by a third party.​
